Err, no tracks in Essex, but you go south slightly, and you have that little known former Grand Prix circuit of Brands Hatch, or yu go North a little bit and find that top secret test and race venue of Snetterton...

Alternitively, look on a map, there's plenty of places around the UK for track days etc.

It's generally best to get a bit more experience before trying to properly push your bike to the limit.

So rather than entering some racing, I would suggest you look at 'trackdays' which are a whole lot more friendly, cheaper and begginer orientated.

personally, id spend time practicing on quiet country roads at legalish speeds before doing a trackday.

maybe go on rideouts with ppl who are a bit faster and see how they do it, and they can give tips. dont try to go too fast too soon tho

Join essexbikers.co.uk

They have some fairly spirited rideouts that you could tag along on.

Otherwise, Brands, Snetterton, Lydden, Silverstone's not far, All good tracks.

I've done all except brands, looking at about £100 for a trackday. So pass ya test and get out there.

Might not be able to do brands if you're restricted though.
