Honda cg125 losing power

Hi hope some one can help

Riding home couple of weeks back i heard a sort of rattling sound coming from the engine, I pulled up and checked the chain, fuel, oil, all fine, so I think definately somewhere inside. I started off back home but had a distinct lack of power...well more so than usual. Have started it a couple of times since, and think the rattling is coming from the front part of the engine.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I could try to fix it?

Hi

A couple of things that might be worth checking are the spark plug, then doing a compression check on the cylinder.

Are you able to ascertain where the rattling noise is coming from on the engine?
