I cant decide which one to buy in August after passing my test.

I like the naked yellow one but also like the black faired one

Planning on commuting to work every day which is all motorways and so some have said I should get the faired one?

Will they make much difference? The naked bike has fairly wide front and one friend has said it will deflect the wind ok?

The unfaired version is fooking gorgeous! Can't you get a screen for it?

It's so much better looking than the faired.

unfaired dropping = cheaper to fix

and bungs aren't always going to save it

a guy called Jim had been riding for 10+ years and came off his GSX750 the bungs saved the fairing but tipped the bike over and knackered the bars and instrument panel.

Just get a fly screen for the naked one , no matter how experienced you are everybody seems to drop their bike at least once,Unless you are a hard bastard like me who shuns screens period and has huge ugly neck muscles (which incidentally would probably help in case of a high speed off) get a screen.

Is it me or does the unfaired version look a little like a large Gilera DNA ?

I love the naked version in yellow its well nice. There is a small screen for it, think I will buy that and stick some bungs on it.

Cant wait to buy it,

I dont know yet found it for £3999 in Orrell Motorcycles and cant see them price matching esp as they are still up the swanny a bit. Have you been in MMC its bare!!

I sat on the yellow one the other day its so sweet.

Will be buying 2 and trading in our 2 YBR's so hopefully try and get a good deal.

Lol the entrace is electric, you have to ring a buzzer and some other nonsense The closest parking is the car park above the hardshaw centre.

Cacking one now about this theory. Not so much so about the sign posts etc as I have been getting 34 or 35 out of 35 on the practise ones on that web site link from here.

Its the hazard perception one! I think i am gonna click too early, any one got any tips:

IE: should I say not click if i see a kids bike wheel stick out between 2 cars but click onces its actually started to pull out if you get me. Not got anything to practise with on that one.

Getting worries about DAS too an all now. I did I can do a U turn and did it fine on my CBT and can do it in the road. But for some reason every now and again my damn brain tells my right hand to move and I end up taking the revs off and coasting round which I dont know if thats a fail or not? Dont put my foot down or anything like that just some times coast the last bit. Gonna practise loads. My bike doesnt help needs lots of revs to get going! May be easier on a 500 I have heard it is.

If you see anything that may change the way you are driving, click. If it then actually causes you to change your course or spoeed, click again. That's the way i was old, and i passed it first time.Don't forget things like pedestrian crossings, traffic lights, traffic waiting at junctions etc. could all potentially develop into a hazard, so give them a clicky too.
