Hey,

I was gonna get my sister a new pair of hair straightners for her birthday, but being male and straight, i dont know know anything about them! Razz I've never even held a pair in my life!

I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good pair, or good 'features' to look out for on them. PS, im not intending to break the bank Wink but dont want to buy a cheap crappy pair for her...

Cheers Thumbs Up Cool

Buy her a Dildo instead.

She'll enjoy it more and as men we all have more experience with them.

Confused Not his sister!! girlfriend yea but not sister Laughing

GHD or I have Murphy Richards sold at boots. They are good. Last me ages and small so I can stick them in my travel bag.

The question is does she have thick or thin hair? Thin hair means you can get a smaller iron, thick then get the thicker iron. Ask someone at boots if all else fails.

She has quite think hair...

I looked at the GHD ones but they are pretty expensive.

Are these any good?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00064X9XK/qid=1149543243/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/203-5233916-6007945

It has good reviews, and one reveiw says it performs the same as a pair of GHD's but for half the price...

My remington pair started to smoke and the fuse then went Confused

If you do get any, keep the receipt! I say Morphy Richards, a bit thicker than those too if she has thick hairxxx

She will cry if you don't get her GHD's. Trust me.

It's not worth getting the cheaper ones.

Bought some for the wife a few years ago - GHD. Can't go wrong. Anything else would be a mistake.

My GF says try "Wigo" straightners, they're much better than GHD and half the price!

GHD won't straighten my GF's hair, but the Wigo ones will.

From my experience of my missus and her hair straightners just bite the bullet and go for the GHD. She's had a good number of straightners which promised this and that and all using the latest ceramic technology. All were either not up to the job or just broke. Then she got the GHD pair and they're fine. Now she's a happy bunny.

HTH Thumbs Up

My I used to straigten my ex-girlfriends hair with GHD's took no time at all, well maybe 40mins cause of the amount of hair she had (on her head)

I once used the ones my mum had on it and it took 1:20 mins to get through it!

and plus she will love you ever after Wink

Rich.
