Have you tried a deep hand massage?? Its really relaxing and helps people with arthritis etc so it may help you on this occasion. I did a bit of massage at a night course and my mom really says it helps her as she has tingling in her fingers.

Had an accident when i was younger, Fell over walking my dads over-enthusiastic staffy and landed on my left wrist. Fell off a bike 3 years ago and landed on it again Rolling Eyes Now it has a lump about 1" round on the top of it Crying or Very sad If its agitated in any way it gets very sore and 'cracky' Razz

I'd try putting your hand in warm water to try and soothe it a bit (if you've not already tried it) Wink Thumbs Up

years ago , i went a bit mad at the beach and had been throwing almost any pebble, rock i could get my hands on and could actually throw all day. my elbow cracked everytime i moved it for about 3 weeks. and after a while it went away.


i was a lot younger.

Maybe you have damaged the cartilage. Take a load of cod liver oil to lube up the ol' joints and see if that stops the clicking.

I used to be a county basketball champion and was always fracturing my fingers and thumbs and I had a clicking like your in my right hand thumb. I took cod liver oil supplements for a week or so and then BAM! it went away.
