Blatent plug of MCE's services...
For the third year running I have renewed my insurance with these lovely chappies, because for the third year running they have offered the best package for the lowest price, and following Suzuki's experience with their Solicitors I have every confidence in their legal cover too.
My renewal (at my parents country retreal - lowest insurance area) for TPFT was £139. I called to inform them of the change of address, add communting, some extra miles and confirm the benefits and he came back with £140 despite the Dudley postcode.
The onscreen price for Fully Comp without inclusion of any extras was £270 my little chappy wandered off and came back with a quote of £200 Fully comp, with legal cover, 30 days european cover and breakdown assistance.
So anyone looking for insurance, try MCE, they really will do anything to keep your business and they will do their best to beat *anyone's quotes
I'm feeling rather pleased
Right, I'm off to ride my bike \o/

I get an online quote from them (I had tried several different scenarios, Ie commuting, not commuting, using different amounts of NCB as I have several 'streams' etc.
Each one has a seperate reference number.
Call them up with the one I want and reference number.
"Sorry, we can't access onlines quotes, you'll have to wait until Monday, but I can give you a quote now"
Quote comes out at twice as much with the same details.
Call back on Monday...
"I'm afraid we can't match your online quote"
Eh, and 'WTF' - it's not some one else's online quote, it's your own website that said I could get insurance from you for this price.
Needless to say, I did not continue to use them.
When I tried to make a fuss "Well, we can see here you made several quotes, so you must have messed the system up", yea, right. Either way, pretty poor . |

I've never tried using the online system, I always get better quotes by actually talking to someone.
I usually make trouble by asking for them to add/remove options as we go through the quote, so if it comes back low then I'll ask what difference it makes if I add commuting etc etc. They never seem to mind too much ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!
