92 Honda NSR 125 FII up for sale very soon (Birmingham Area)

Hi all,

My NSR will be up for sale very soon, its just in the garage having a new clutch cable, rear wheel bearings and possible new rear brake disk/ pads. It will also get a new MOT while in there.

It was serviced about 60 miles ago and nothing major was noted to be needed except the rear wheel bearings needing replacing. I requested the clutch cable to be replaced as I thought it looked a little rough although the garage said it was fine.

I am looking to sell for £750 but this will include spare side fairing panels, new throttle cable (it had a new one about 120 miles ago along with grip but I ordered a spare cable). There are also various other spare bits and pieces such as exhaust (requires a fair bit of attention) and dial cover.

The bike is derestricted and has approx 30bhp. The mileage reads about 38,000 miles but this is not accurate as it is an italian import and started life in km and not miles. It was fitted with a convertor by its previous owner who did a lot of work restoring the bike.

The pic below is a few months old and has since had new bar ends and grips.

Bike now back from garage. It passed the MOT no probs and the brakes have been blead so they are nice and responsive. Any offers?

its a 1992 NSR. Insurance wise it cost me about £440 through Churchill (Equity Red Star) third party fire and theft - i was 24 at the time of insuring it, now 25. If you want a better idea try the online quote on churchill or bennetts.

For all interested I have all receipts for work I have had carried out on it although the previous owner only passed me the workshop manual and past MOT certificates. Oh not to forget the V5 reg cert. of course.
