Have an NSR 125 R 2000 year in black, love the bike, and is my pride and joy, did a test last week but just missed out when I locked the back wheel, so re booked for week on Monday 19th and finger crossed should be ok.
Have found a nice Kawasaki zzr 636 on a 2002 plate, nice nick, colour ,17K for £2800 but they only want to give me £750 for mine, I know everyone wants more for their bike but do feel that's well below ??? or am I being optimistic ?
Now don't know if I should just part ex it and be done with it or keep it and sell it off later, seen the same age and condition on ebay from £1200 to £1500.
It's not perfect and has been well ridden, odd scratches, crack on faring, small tear on seat.
But on plus side does have new chain sprockets, pads, good tires, not a spot of rust, load of service and attention, lots of extra's, merc style mirrors.
Main issue I see selling it private is it's Ireland registered so if somebody buys it will need to be registered in this country and that will mean an SVLA test, and that gona put people off me thinks.
Don't know if to part ex and just get on with it or go with selling it private, bound to me more hassle but may get more for it ?
