Just got back from IOM

as you can see by the state of my rear tyre, it was good fun!

The one way on the Mountain Rd with no speed limit is like nothing else on earth - you must go and do it!

Already booked for next year!

John

Hi John, It was a brilliant TT this year with the weather keeping good for the fortnight and the racing was out of this world. McGuinness rules supreme again........ Thumbs Up
I've gone thru a pair of Diablo's and am about to fit my second rear sportsmax in just under 4500 miles, as well as another D.I.D chain, that mountain road just screams at you to open up and let rip, I ride it every day to work and the tyres and chains are beginning to get expensive to replace, but as you found out, you just can't help yourself can you Rolling Eyes Razz Razz

rear brake is fine, there are about 4mm wear left on each pad and the piston operates perfectly

BTW 129.451 mph, slowing for the pits

McGuinness, you RULE!!!!!

It was my 1st ever TT this year, it was incredible, EVERYONE should go at least once.

Got there at 6 in the morning on Mad Sunday and spent all day blasting round the course with nothing but adrenaline and Red Bull to keep me going. Riding round made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, it was amazing. Mad Sunday is indeed 'Mad' tho, especially up on the mountian, I was doing 140 in places and people were flying past me as if i was stood still. There were that many bike's giving it some beans it was a bit hairy at times but something i'll never forget.

Shame all the ferrys are booked up for next year. Sad

So, let me get this right. You went to an island with loads of beautiful scenery, fantastic roads, the opportunity to capture numerous photographs of the best road racers in the world and all we get is a few close ups of your back wheel - sort it out Wink
