...well yesterday - I got to my bike only to find i'd lost my keys. I walk back to where I had been sitting to try and find them. Not there. Call dad up to get him to drop spares down, walk back to bike. Low and behold thats gone missing too...

im keeping hopes out that a mates nicked the keys and moved the bike as a joke.. otherwise can anyone round the SE London/Kent areas (Dartford specifically) look out for a red 307 replica Peugeot Speedfight scooter - reg GN05 OKF

Thanks! Smile

I have been round to look - no sucess yet.. I'm keeping pretty calm about the whole thing simply because stressing won't change the past so theres no point!

Err dude your bikes been nicked, better call the police... youd have fucked up friends to steal your keys then move your bike and leave you hanging wondering where it is..

someones nicked it... call the police.

Well that was the first thing that was done obviously..

As for my freinds.. It's called being 16 - turns most kids into little shits! Laughing I think if indeed it was one of them and they havent grown out of it soon then they shall be disposed of Wink

However I don't really think it could have been - as they were all somewhere else (other side of town) when it went missing - drove past them in the car with my dad. Its just one of these little bits of hope you can cling onto!

if you report your bike stolen after you thought it was actually stolen police might get a bit suspicious.. insurance job maybe Wink

best not say you left the keys in the ignition either as the insurnace company wont pay out

it was reported stolen about 10 minutes after it was actually stolen!

Keys wern't in the ignition - I lost them sometime throughout the day. Could have been a coincidence and my bike got shoved in a Van, but I think it's probably got something to do with it... Thats why I'm holding out hope that one of my so called freinds has done something - as how else would a random stranger have made the connection between some keys randomly found and my bike?

Im insured TPO anyway - so insurance company need not be told Wink

If someone has nicked it it seems likely that whoever picked up the keys followed you to the bike. Which also suggests that it could have been someone sitting in the same room that you were, even just behind you.

Might help shed some light onto the culprit if you were somewhere like a college/uni class.

nope.. I was at the side of a feild with a few other people watching some mates play football.. nobody followed me from there.. I don't remember checking as I got closer to the bike though so it's a possibility..

unlucky, better hope it turns up, and not damaged. Could you have dropped the keys when you got off your bike? Maybe missed you pocket or some thing and dropped them

If your bike is new and has the fob on it from the dealers with their number on or something, chances are that some little toe rag matched it to the dealer slogan on the license plate.

In future keep a chain round the wheel, and the key for that on your house keys. That way if you lose your keys, the thief doesn't have the keys to the chain.

If you were in Edinburgh I'd be able to tell you exactly where it is to within 1/4 of a mile depending on where it went missing from.

On the assumption that London is similar. Is there no scumbag housing scheme nearby? You know the type, a warren of cul de sacs and back lanes with a burned out car on every corner and washing machines dumped in every garden.

That's where it'll be, minus the side panels and number plate, being ragged round the local playpark until it either seizes or runs out of petrol.

From his location then yes there are. However there is probably one every few miles, from London along the Thames all the way to the English channel. Laughing
