I will be needing a new rear tyre soon so i was looking at changing the whole set seeing how the standard tyres are pretty crap.
I have a CBR 125 and the ones available (that i could find anyway) are as follows

rear
pirelli sport demons
pirelli mt75
bridgestone battlax bt39ss
bridgestone bt45 sport mileage

front
bridgestone battlax bt39ss

As you can see only the bt39ss' would make a matching set, unless i wanted to squish a 90/80mt75 on the front but i think it would end up being very square!.

Original sizes are 80/90-17 fr 100/80-17 rr lots of 110/80-17 to choose from but dont fancy squishing them on.
What are your opinions on these tyres i have never owned any of them Confused

BT39ss are the stickiest tyres from that selection, and its best to always have a matched pair of tyres.

But I thought the BT39ss's went out of production a few years ago. If you can get them, get them.

You can get the front BT39SS from M&P, £62.

Here's a related thread from bikersweb, might be helpful.

So we'll be looking at £120 a set Shocked

I miss my scooter........racing tyres £45 the pair, only good for 2000miles and dry use only but it was a very fun 2000 miles.

Oh well ill get saving buy some tyre levers too and destroy the rear with a massive burnout Twisted Evil
