Hi - there are so many variables there is no such thing as the best insurer but for starters try www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk

The varibles are listed in the sticky at the top of the forum!

I just got quoted (ready for end of summer) 300 quid to insure my YBR with 2years road experience on a CBT (TP,F&T with 150 quid excess). thats with a company called 'Equity Red Star'

Before you ever buy a quote you should ring the firm up.. sometimes they can give you discounts!!!

Also when it nears the end of the month some firms have targets to reach and will offer reductions in insurance.

I just rang up a insurance broker and got a list of insurance companies for a 500cc ER-5 at

£331.71 The National Insurance and Guarantee Corporation Limited. Excess £500.00

£342.19 AXA Insurance UK plc. Excess £250.00
Mr. Green
(both 2 years no claims and on full licence in bout months time)

SHows that if you ring your almost granunteed to get a cheaper quote!
