Teenager repellent sound, Put it too the test, download here

Most of you will be aware of the teenage repellent sound that shopkeepers use to keep teenage loiterers away.

Its really high pitched and hard to hear and aparantly over 30's cannot hear it.

Would people put it to the test for me?

I am nearly 21 and I can hear it to the point it makes me feel sick.

it really doesnt bother me and im 17, i turned my speakers up aswell and its just left a little bit of ringing in my ears. wouldnt make me move from outside somewhere.

I could hear it, wouldn't make me move, my ears are ringing slightly though because I listened to it twice.

What would annoy me and make me move is that bloody ringtone the chavs have that goes really high pitched, why do they think it is cool?

Quite clever how the kids are using this one as a message alert tone though. Be a pity if you had a young teacher.

EDIT: Just remembered I am slightly deaf in the ear I used, so it wouldn't have that much effect on me.

Apparently they are now offering this as a ringtone for schoolkids, so their teachers cant hear it... Im 19 and i agree with whoever said its like a knackerd tv, it makes the same noise as my kitchen TV (which is knackered) Laughing

That is no way a miracle solution, it should be fucking outlawed. Stop letting underage kids buy fags and booze, then they won't hang around your shop you greedy pricks.

However, a while ago there was a feature about this on the news. They played the sound then, and I couldn't hear a thing. Annabella could though.

I guess this one is just a slightly lower frequency.

I can just about hear it with the volume turned up, doesnt bother me at all and im 16. When ever they have played it on the news i cant hear it, my sister who's 13 says she can.
