My gsxr600 has a blue flame can and it sounds better than any bike i have ever heard, anyone else agree the blue flames make an awesome sound? or do i just not have enough experience of can sounds?

Never heard one on a Gixxer, though they have always sounded great when I've heard them on other bikes.

Not much, quite expensive aftermarket race cans when there are better alternatives available.

mine sounds good on my sv650s k3. dual exit evo with the bottom baffle out.... mmmmmmm
the blue flame logo is blatantly one of the best looking logos too!!
(yoshimuras are way more expensive before you go down that road!)

there was an offer on when i got it, so it cost me a mere £230. not bad for a dual exit, road legal (removable baffles), titanium end can, with link pipe. yes others do it cheaper...but better....time will tell. but im happy. thats what matters

They make nice cans and from the few comparisons I've been able to make, are some of the best I've had fitted. Look good, sound good, finished to a high standard. The US Spec Yoshi I had on the Blade for a couple of weeks seemed pretty A-level in comparison, with a well past its best finish and crappy welding.

I'd opt for another Blueflame if I found a good second hand can.

I also rate Arrow cans for their sound, especially if you go for a full system

I agree with paulthewitt, Blue Flames with both baffles out does sound awesome and the logo is by far the best.

I have the Coloured titanium evo 3 (the tri-oval, dual port one with the blue and purple scoarch marks on it) on my '99 R6 and i can say it looks and sounds the part. I paid £200 for it which inc the link pipe.

https://www.blueflameperformance.com/bike/images/evo_images/8.jpg

And heres a pic of it on the bike:

https://myspace-807.vo.llnwd.net/00495/70/84/495524807_l.jpg

(Excuse the dirty bike), its not the best pic of it, i have more at home, will post it up when i get home, to show you how it looks at different angles.

I'd say get a blume flame if you like them. Expensive but they are nice.

The guys on SV Forum had a problems with their rivets constantly popping out when using BF on their bikes. Aftermarket care wasn't too good at the time either.

Only thing I don't really like about them is the fact you need circlip pliers to remove the baffle, not just a simple 'screw' job.
