Hi all, i just replaced the chain and sprocket on my zxr 750.

The old Sprocket had 44 teeth the new 1 only has 41. i dont wanna have to swap the chain over cos it is a total bitch to get the chain off. is there another sprockt i can get? or do i have to get a new chain and sprocket and do it all again?

Added a picture of the chain and sprocket

Thanks in advance

As long as the sprocket matches the chain type/size/width/pitch(and fits the bike Wink ) you will be ok to get another one. Thumbs Up

Less teeth on a sprocket = Down gearing (I think Shifty)

Less teeth on the rear is upgearing, i.e acceleration is a tad slower and theoretical top speed increases a bit.

Looks like you might have enough slack and adjustment to downgear it a bit and go up to 46 teeth. Would probably be unnoticable though.
