Hey guys, I've been back at college since Monday as the AS Level exams are over now and we are continuing our A level course, and on Monday morning when I had my bag for college ready to go, I realised My Aprilia RS50 had almost no storage space what-so-ever! meaning I cannot store any of my college work or biker helmet in the bike, I was just wondering do 'proper' superbikes also have this issue? Confused

Shoulda bought a moped!

Every 'proper' bike has virtually no room for storage. Mine had enough to squeeze a pair of waterproof overtrousers in, but that's been taken by the Datatool. Sad

As said, buy a chain and chain your helmet to your bike, or do what I did and put it in my locker at the start of the day.

I could fit a small ethiopian family under the back seat of my SRAD. Laughing

Seriously though, I've got a bit of storage space, but nothing helmet sized. I carry a small map, toolkit, disklock, chain and padlock, and a set of waterproofs. Thumbs Up

As said SRADS like mine have quite a bit of storage Very Happy. Apart from that get a tankbag, although not sure if the RS50s have metal tanks so will have to be a tie down one?

I used to get a toolkit and a disc lock under the seat of my NSR.. maybe a mobile phone or a carton of squash too at a push.

I have a small bag on the rear mudguard on the DR. It just about holds the mediocre toolkit and a mobile... at a push, a small oxford disc lock.

Can fit quite alot in the tail pod of an RS actually.

I had a tesco's sandwitch, can of red bull, mobile, small bottle of 2t and a pack of 20 Thumbs Up

If i need to carry anything i use a compact motorcycle bag, 30 quid from the BMF. Net comes out to store a helmet in, and easily takes books.

... Could take a tank bag if you realy needed it.

I have NO storage space whatsoever on the RX. I just adjust, i found places for all my gear at work, ive figured out the maximum space i have in all my pockets (Measured by a bottle of Frijj Laughing ), and i have a little clip on my bag that my helmet can attatch too.

i can just squeeze my motrax chain and small toolkit underneath myseat in the vfr but i had a bit more room in the cbr 125. The honda sky moped i had on the other hand had no storage room just a little hook for a light bag of groceries.
