If its been serviced and looked after properly that mileage is ok. They engines are tough mechanically.

However the electrics are now 14 years old and are known for being a bit weak. If its been cared for I'd expect them to be ok. If its been owned by a succession of 17 year olds for 1 year each then I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

And you may well find it uncomfortable at that height. You'll look like a gorilla riding a mini moto. Test ride a 600 before you buy anything.

no you wont look stupid cause ur 6'3 i'm about that and it feels fine. 35k of miles isnt bad. look for all the service history and.. tyres, exhuast, dash+clocks, cailpers.

also see if you can haggle the price down. Thumbs Up

you will love the bike, if i did then you will too.

Check usual points for sign of wear or abuse, ask the owner when teh regulator rectifier was last changed, if he doesnt know budget it in the price and use that to knock him down (on the price dont hit him with the reg/rec)
anymore questions www.400greybike.co.uk will be useful to you

What kind of price is it?

Bikes in good working order go for about £1200, great bikes in mint condition with low milage may fetch £1800.

Have a good look over the fairings. They do tend to suffer stress cracks around the mounting points.

I'm 6' and am more than confortable on mine, although I don't use it for anything other than track riding.

I'm about 6' and find mine ok for comfort.

Just don't buy a dog, go for one thats been looked after a little and preferably been used reguarly, not been left in a shed for years.
