Positive things about being single

I've found myself single after 5 years, and through all the crappyness of losing my girlfriend who I love very much and who was/is my best friend, my house and car I'm looking for positives about being single

1) When it's this hot it's great to have a double bed all to yourself
2) I can stare at the fine ladies wandering round in short skirts as much as I want
3) ...?

Come on, there's got to be loads more

i just become single aswell. what happened to me was the most aweful things possible.

so i threw a party and had great fun

done al the things that would have pissed him off.

it was great being able to go where ever and talk to anyone. i even turned men down. only cause they hadnt got a clue how to start a bike lol

i can leave the place in a mess and the cats dont mind.
i can watch what i like.
i can shag who i want
i cant come home at whatever time i like and with whom i like
i can eye up men
i can flirt like crazy
i am answerable to no one

though i am still depressed at how it ended. i wanted to start a thread for help but al has done it sort of cause i dont want to go into what happened again.

any other advantages would be good?

disadvantage, feeling lonely and not having a shag when ones needed lol

Mostly though...time to find out who you are and what you want from life/your next relationship

You do feel crap to start with but the benefits soon become clear

I hate having to plan for 2 people ALL the time, and never being able to have a proper laugh on nights out cos you have to 'behave' at all times.

Also the turning down sex sucks, sooooo much.

Just remember though, you might just die alone if you stay single....but I figure being dead at 70 with a hooker in my bed is far more fun than being miserable and comfortable.
