What is the best bike to have restricted...sorry

I am 5ft 9 and 60kg...im not weak so i doesnt have to be really light but again nothing to heavy. I want a bike that will be as fast or faster when restricted than a full power 125. Its a challange then i will not mention 33bhp again

I would go for a hyabusa, ZX12R, ZZR1400 or a CBR1100 XX Blackbird.

He said the best, not the most rediculous. Best bet is go for something 33bhp or under. Large capacity (some up to 600cc with oodles of torque but still 33 bhp) traily, or do what I did, go for a dr350 or something similar. If you are going to ride restricted for 2 years anyway, it doesn't matter if you can't derestrict it. Plus if you get a bargain you can get your money back, or even make some as there is always a market for them.

60kg is around 9 stone 5lbs i think.
i would say a sports 400 they are 55-60bhp from standard and restrict fairly well at 33bhp. On the VFR there was definately a lag in the revs around 6000rpm to about 8000 where the power usually kicks in when full power. The revs then run freely in first gear up to the readline but only to 12000 in the other gears if i remember rightly. The bike is not slow but im not sure how it would perform against a full power sports 125 as i have never ridden or rode with one when on my restricted 400.

Usually restricted 400s will kill a 125. You seem to have mixed ideas about the restriction generally. As said previously the ER-5 or 400's will take the restriction well. The Honda Bros 400 is 33bhp stock, so Id say it would probably be good if you want to stay restricted. Plus its a Honda so it wont dissolve or eat its own electrics like the ER-5.

Quite true, i'm having electrical probs with the ER at this moment in time....

Luckily mines garaged at work and home, so its never really subject to the elements.
