Following my test with no lessons post i would now like to know what the examiner is looking for throughout the test.
Stuff that i should practice / ensure i do.
Any test stories appreciated.

See this for some information on the motorcycle practical test.

If you find your local test centre on the DSA website, you should be able to download documents about the vehicle safety questions and test routes, although I'm not sure how useful the latter really is.

Other than this, I think the most important aspects of the test will be the U-turn and life savers.

Ability to perform all requested tasks as taught in the CBT and above all, confidence.

Lots of mirror use and lifesavers. Reading the traffic ahead/all around you, so if soe clown pulls out on you you're half expecting it (if a car waiting to turn right is at a junction, and you see it's wheels starting to turn, expect the expected Sad) etc etc

Your test will last around half an hour or so - if you can do the emergency stop and U turn ok, the rest is reading the road, stopping and setting off ok, mirrors, signal, life saver, maneouvre stuff, i.e. 'normal riding'.
