As the missus wanted to go, and she went to SoaD with me so I thought fairs fair.

Oh my god...

I wanted to die.

I had to walk from Man City Stadium to Ardwick (I had a drink in a pub in Ardwick, NEVER AGAIN)... And then got a bus back to a mates in Stockport (Bramhall)...

The bus got fucking pulled by the coppers, a few lads got searched..

Best bit of the night was me screaming "I NEED SOME CRACK" while one of the take that gayboys was talking... And having about 200 oestrogen filled women in my vicinity try to kill me with an icy stare.

Also manage to keep myself amused by saying "If I haven't grown a fanny by the end of this night it'll be a fucking miracle", drinking too much, smoking like an industrial plant burning machine, and being overtly sweary all night.

Bad gig stories here?

Was at a papa roach gig where everyone kept pissing in stella tins then leaving them on the floor/throwing them at people.
Then cos im big people kept asking for a leg up Sick

Oh, and hoobastank, cos EVERYONE there was like 12 and emo. Luckily i managed to find a circle pit full of actual adults and so had a good laugh.

Was funny watching the kiddies come in, get there arse kicked, then leave.

I remember at leeds festival in 2002 I shouted whilst the dillenger escape plan were on the stage "GET OFF THE STAGE...YOU'RE SHIT" and got a massive cheer for it.

It was the second time I had seen them, the first time was when they were supporting system of a down at manchester acadamy and I was pulling shoes off crowd surfers and throwing them at them. Thumbs Up

When I was 15 I went to the local 'massive', PJ and Duncan were playing. Needless to say they were terrible (so was the venue) so my mate threw his coke can at them and hit the one with the big forehead, right on his forehead. They walked off stage!

My mate got collared but all he had to do was go backstage and apologise, so he got to meet them.

Depeche Mode at Wembley a few years ago.

By this point in the tour, they were back to the 'hating each other' stage, their latest album was pretty weak and the setlist seemed cunningly designed to kill the mood with a shit song every time the crowd started to enjoy themselves. It's never a good sign when the singer's shouting 'oh come on' to the front few rows...

To top it all, the lurking toothache I'd had all the day decided to come on full strength about half way through the concert.

You're in Wembley, listening to poor electro-pop while the whole side of your head feels like its on fire. All you need to complete the day is the prospect of a hour home on a crowded tube train...

Final kick... I actually paid for that ticket. Rolling Eyes
