i feel i have been painted in a bad light though here. yes there is years if history but i cant really fit it all in here and was just giving the jist of what was happening. its complacated as you can tell.

I started seeing this girl recently(ish) who'd been cruelly dumped by her long term B/f(who she was planning on marrying etc...) , basically she caught him fucking this other girl, it had been going on for 6 months.

He laughed when she caught them.

He still sends her texts - "im not sure I made the right choice" etc.... "I'll let you know soon" blah !!!

I could see she was still into him so I knocked it on the head with her.

Anyway, once we'd reverted to 'just friends' she admitted that if he'd have her, she'd go back in a second. She knows its stupid, he's totally fucked her over, but she said she cant help it cos she loves him.

I don't think you're stupid. I think you still love this chap and are doing the best that you can in order to come to terms with the relationship break-up. It's sort of like mourning for a loved one when they die. People deal with these things in different ways but the only real healer seems to be time.
Women will often allow men to treat them badly because of love. They're afraid of loosing the person they love so they will allow that person to treat them badly rather than face life alone. I can compare in some ways with a parent loosing a child. If a child fell desperately ill a parent would initially want their child to survive even if it meant their child had a poor quality of life afterwards.

Guessing the sex thing is just when you go out clubbing or to a bar or something. But make blokes work! Get his number or something and see if he will talk to you another time, that is the way you can tell between a guy who will be interested in a relationship, and one who just wants sex!

Honestly sometimes it gets a little bit too easy to find sex! I for one would be much more greatful for a girl who made me work for her rather than most of the local girls who just wanna be 'ruined'.

i am great now. i dont miss him inthe slightest i have moved on and found better things and its great. best thing i ever done was split with him cause i never been happier even on my own. i know some dont agree with what i did. but everyone i know that was there says differant as they seen what happened. so again thanks for all your oppions. time does heal.
