Hood jean's are fully covered on the inside with Kevlar, unlike Draggin which only covered selected part's. Hood are UK based and apparently offer very good customer service, and theyre cheaper than Draggin so maybe worth a try.

Paid about £90 for a pair of Hood including knee and hip armour and delivery. They are comfy, but a bit more stuffy than normal jeans, the inside kelvar material sticks a bit during the hot days.
Only annoying thing for someone as lazy as me is having to take out the armour to wash, so have to reposition it afterwards everytime.
Could anyone tell me if that is the same for the Draggin ones?
Saw in FHM magazine that there is another company that does motorcycle jeans as well, https://www.g-star.com, but could not seem to find them on the site. ____________________ The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only a page. |

i got a pair of draggin combats from https://www.clubpromoto.co.uk/site/shop.php the guy was really helpfull when i phoned.
i found them a bit baggy and a lot heavier than most combats, they would do the job fine with the added armour. i just ordered a pair of draggin dry jeans, they look tighter all round a bit lighter and they are waterproof for 20 washes, im getting the thigh armour sewn in and a velcro set for the knees, the other thing about the combats are they are a bit flarey at the bottom, slap about and let the wind up, too thick and baggy to use twisters and if youve massive balls like me a bit tight round the nethers! also a complete nightmare to get waterproofs on over them.
was advised that as im a hot person (fat git) the draggin dry's would suit me all year round, only pull a pair of long johns on in the winter and dont expect to stay 100% dry in a downpoar!
draggin dry's about £100 with free armour and postage. |

I just brought a pair of black draggin jeans from Infinity at hangar lane today, RRP 89.00, i said i had seen them elsewhere for 82.50 so he typed some stuff on the computer and droped the price to 80 quid and said beat that with a smile on his face lol... i promptly handed over the cash...
Just rode around for 30 mins with them, seem comfy, even though i am a shortarse and the legs are slightly too long for me, i am very pleasantly surprised that the cut of the jeans doesent slip over the bottom of my boots, so i wont need to get them altered... result... (i went to the shop with trainers on, so it was a bit of a gamble...)
The pockets seem a bit tight, but i will put that down to them being new and me needing to loose a few pounds I suppose i should use that "free weeks gym membership" i got in the post yesterday lol...
Feel alot better now im not in normal jeans... hope i never have to test these. But they feel sturdey and well made, and also look pretty good if i do say so myself. |
