saw them at the NEC last year.. it's pretty good. the rear-view mirror isnt great, you can't see great detail, but it's good enough to see if there's something there or not.

i dont think i could handle that, to much information at once, might be something you get used to, but having the world move backwards at the top of your helmet would be strange i imagine.

I dont think I'd go for it,

a) that top section of the view is a bit I use a lot, especial on a sports bike, not sure if this is just me though.

b) I'd prob not trust it, I'd want to make sure there was nothing there and there is nothing like seeing with your eyes !

c) I'm prob have to re-morgage the house to get one lol

lol i was thinking the same as ur option c to, others i cant vouch for because i dont have a bike yet.

If you want HUD you'll need the SportVue system, mc1/mc2 or lt1.
