I personally think the newer aprilia models look better than the new ducati models (i admit, the old dukes are sexay).

its way better than the gsxr,
for a start boxhill on sunday about 15-20 gsxrs
i was the only sports ducati in the place.

It looks better
It Sounds better
It handles better
Its better on fuel
Its got better gadjets

The GSXR was out of date, too big, i didnt want a K6 600. theres a different feeling when you own something like a ducati, something you dont get when owning a disposiable japanesse bike, which is classed as shite when the K7 comes out with its lighter footpegs for an extra 10bhp.

Plus V-twins are cool. Might go for something like an 04 RSV1000 next, staying with the Italian theme.

The GSXR was awsome, but when you update to a different bike, you have to consider the downsides, It was big and a bit dated looking.
Although it was Very quick, about 130bhp at the wheel.

The only bike manufactuer i hate is Kawasaki as i think you may have noticed.

RS125 = Pretty shite, not really fast and unreliable

CBR400 NC23 = Small Fun and good looking, untill i crashed it, it was pretty indestrutable and even done a trackday and toured scotland on it, Was pretty slow when you think about it now though

GSXR750 = Went like shit off a stick, The fasted bike ive ridden, but it wouldnt match the ducati round some twisties, only problem i had was landing a wheelie to hard and the FI relay falling out.

Pretty much summed up, the only bike i regret getting is the RS125 what a pile of sh*t.

Kawasaki are still shite though, even though i wouldnt mind a 10R i would never get one because i hate kawasaki so much.

im comparing my GSXR750 to the Ducati NOT a zx10, ive never ridden one.

the bike with the most character and i think most bcf members who have been here over a year will agree.

also i Toured scotland with a Krapshitti and it rattled apart and in the end the headlight and fairings were held on by duct tape.
