hey

People may have seen my Yamaha Sr125 up for sale as i've passed my test and looking for a bigger bike.

My budget is £2000 max although could stretch to maybe £2250 (would prefer not to though Smile )

I'm looking for a Honda CBR (preferably midrange power, 400+) or a Kawasaki ZXR (again anything midrange power).

Looking for something in good condition as i hope to have this bike last me a long while as i get through uni and into a career so low milelage and well maintained would be welcome.

I'm located in Solihull, West Midlands, so anything around the Birmingham area or in a 40 mile radius would be very nice.

Thanks all

May have my ZX6R for sale soon.

It doesnt need anything doing but would want nearer £2500 for it.

Its a silver and black J1 and is in very good condition.

What year is it?

I don't think i'll be able to push cash that far up. The only problem i am having is mainly insurance. Found a nice 1995 Honda CBR900RR, great price, but insuance was a killer at 1700 tp f&t.

Obviously it was a 900 cc but it's too late to ring around companies for a quote on a 600 today. Does anyone know of any insurers who specialise in restricted engines?

That is a 2000' W plate bike.

I am 20 with 1 years no claims and paid £401 tpft for insurance with choice quote.

I am also on a restricted licence and am afraid to report that it makes no differance on the cost of the insurance weather the bike is restricted or not.

It takes some serious phoning around (NOT INTERNET) quotes to get a good deal on bike insurance.

My GSX-R750 is for sale at £2150 ovno, i'm in Halesowen so not far away.

Insurance is good on the 750s, cheaper than the 600 when I was getting quotes (less crashed I presume).

that's a nice GSX but i'm looking for a bike with a pillion seat too.

I've phoned around insurance all today and been getting £700 or there abouts for 600cc Ninja or CBR.

I'm also going to go see a Kawasaki ZX6R that's close to me tomorrow evening which could be a possible buy.

I'm selling my wife's ZXR400 H2 for about the money you are looking to spend.

LOW milage, cheap insurance.

Totally original, nothing has been done to this bike at all (apart from service, obviously)

Selling due to my missus being a little too small for it, and due to an injury cannot change gear anymore.

Taxed, tested.

Live in Stafford, which aint far from you. Give me a shout if you are interested and i'll send you some photos
