Passed my Das last November, bought a 03 Fazer 600 and like to think my ability has improved a lot over the past few months. So with that in mind, I thought I would take a sensible look at potential 'next ' bikes. Nothing too ambitious you understand, wouldn't want to stretch myself too far, after all, I'm not getting any younger and have responsibilities to my loved ones and business. Yes indeedy, sensible is best. None of us have the ability to truely match the capibilities of the current crop of road bikes so who would I be trying to kid? I've read various topics on this matter on several forums and I've always been one to accept the good advice of my peers Thank you all Very Happy
But lifes so short (yeah I know it's the longest thing I'm ever going to do but 'you get me'?) so I thought 'fukdat mofos' and took out this for two solid hours of buttock clenching- whatamIdoingonthsscudmissile-fuuunnn!

Upto about 8500revs (when I felt able to look at the clocks and not at things far away arriving very quickly at my front wheel) it's very fast but after that it's the fastest thing on earth I've ever been on thats not taken off and taken me somewhere hot for two weeks. Fast as in I think I could of got this Saturdays winning lottery numbers if I'd tried.
The engine noise was everything you'd want it to be if you spent nearly 10K on a bike. It reminded me of a tvr, lots of deep throaty burbleing like it smoked too much. Handled with ease, like it was a much smaller bike.
Anyway, dindins ready. You want a proper review go buy a bike magazine Mr. Green Or do like I did and visit BMW. Somethings are free in this world. Those two hours proved it Wink

Nice, obscure bike - halfway between a Blackbird and Busa in terms of performance I'm led to believe?

Gonna sign on the dotted line then?

Na as good as it was, it's a little too much money for me right now. 12 months from now though...we'll see. Got give it to the BMW dealership they treated me like a king. Seriously impressed me.
