Nosey neighbours

Why is it that some people just can't keep their noses out of other peoples business??

When I first moved here she couldnt wait to spread the word around that I had 6 kids, so what?? Their mine not hers! Then it was the fact that I let my 8 year old out the front to play, least mine aren't wrapped up in cotton wool and then the fact that my daughter stopped out till the early hours, yet again, so what, she's a teenager, get over it!

Second, it was the bike!! Noisey, horrible things that should be banned because they are way to dangerous

Thirdly, the pets! Yes I have a parrot, 5 cats, a rabbit and a guinea pig and have recently got a german shepherd puppy, which in her eyes is the biggest sin of all. So what does she do? She gets in touch with the Cat Protection League......biatch!! Had them turn up at the house, wanting to see the cats......but stuff her, cos they have been given the thumbup (which I knew they would). All my pets are looked after, and have their vacinations as and when they should!

So, you might think, how old is she?? In her sixties or older? Nah, she is 32!! Get a life woman, and keep your nose out of my business.

Oh and I just found out from another neighbour, that she hates bbq's, because of the smoke (she has to shut her windows) and because of the noise too

Well guess what? Weekend after next I am throwing a bbq, but not only that, will be bikers turning up too

We've spoken to my partners Dad & wife (Both know alot about housing laws), but they didn't really have much of a come back.

He put up our rent by £15 after 3 months of us living here

He's a grade A knob, asks questions but doesn't listen to answers.

Send a nicely worded letter informing her that she needs to piss off and leave you alone otherwise you'll be reporting her to the cops for harrassing you and your family. And you could also start civil proceedings to claim against her for all the anxiety caused by the harassment.

For the safety of you and your kids, I reckon try and get a restraining order against her.

If she's said or done anything which could have left you or anyone else fearing violence then that's worth mentioning as well.

One side of my Neighbours are nice as pie, I've never met the other side.

When I back my bike out of a morning (My house backs onto a carpark for a medical centre) there's a guy in an Audi that says "Good morning" to me as I go past.

That's about it, I live in a quiet area.

nah people like your neighbour have nothing else better to do with their boring lives than poke their noses into your biusness.

having had an estate full of the worst neighbours in the world i know how you feel but i had to eventually move out it was that bad, into the next hell hole full of nosy neighbours until i gave in and moved into the country with no neighnours and thats bliss.

the first estate i lived in was new build and in a beautifil glen beside a lovely river, sounds nice. it was owned by a housing assiociation thats where in belfast and all the rejects that wherer kicked out of there where moved to this estate and there is little local me in the middle of it.

firstly the kids thought my bedroom window sill was a seat and somewhere to draw on and annoy me when i was sleeping.

the teens though my roof was a playground.

the kids also thought it was hilerous to pick on my neighbour who had MS and in a wheel chair. i used to actually be scared to go inthere cause they where always on her drive intimadating her.

then wheni actually said something to one of them i had their mother at my door guns blazing that i was bullying her kid! then i recieved death threats from her whole family that i was being burned out and stabbed over this.

kids used to run out when i was driving and the woman beating man across the road send his dog on me on the bike.

the wife beater as i called him also got his wife to come shout at me at 12 noon for starting my bike cause he was in bed and said he would wake me at 5am if i done that again.also he beat his dog never cleaned it and i could smell it frmo my roomwhen i opened my windows.

plenty more happened but i had to move because man beater decided to have a fight with the ex and tried to hit me at same time which he was sorry cause in self defence i kicked him where it hurts. then he treid to do me foe common assult and dropped the charges.

i had to do a mid night flit! and i wasnt sorry cause of it.


council and housing assiocation done nothing. i wasnt on the dole down there i paid my way. i was the only one that did.

I think I know you

When I lived in Salisbury a lady moved up the road with what seemed like hundreds of kids (I think there were five), all different ages. The littlens were everywhere as the mum didn't see a problem with them 'playing out the front', but that's because she just wanted them out of her hair. They were always playing round the back of my flats (where the garages were) which did get quite annoying. Once I came home to find two of the buggers had crawled through my neighbours big dog flap (round the back) and were sitting on his sofa. None of the kids seems to have any clothes either.

Best still was the 4 year old who was allowed to play out the front. I had to do a superman to stop her from getting run over. When I took her home (so only a few meters) the mum gave her a bollocking for being in the road...it wasn't down to her parenting skills at all. Looking after your kids, what's all that about eh?

The teenage daughter was out all night but that wasn't the problem, it was her boy racer friends that used to come and pick them up, stereos and big bore exhausts blazing throughout the early hours.
