Are there any driving or riding instructors on here? What are the tests like? Is it easy to get set up if you're good enough at it? What's involved in the job?

Just thinking of future jobs for when the gf leaves uni. In the job I have now, I have quite alot of free time to be getting qualified as an instructor and can quite easily get the money together. But is it worth it? I think I'd be a good instructor and would work quite well self employed or for a company. But when I see the adverts in the paper saying things like "£30k a year income! We pay for your training!" I get a bit pescimistic, just like all the work from home adverts.

Not in any rush, I like my job now, but it's not something I see myself doing in the distant future and it's not very flexible.

Rick.

Do you know what style of bike you're getting so you get kit that matches roughly?

Birmingham sounds a long way to go for a bike. Might be worth asking if anyone on here lives near the bike first, someone might be willing to check it out and save you a trip.
