yes resurection thats a fair point but i am ok with the helmet. i mean the speace around. i have control of the bike i can get off when i please and i dont have a passanger yapping in my ear. least i know i can take off the helmet when i stop i dont have to ask a drive to stop. another thing i can filter through traffic which cuts down the wait.

does anyone get freaked sitting at traffic lights? i noticed when i am particulary stressed i have no patience and take a panic attack at them, much the same when in a car to.

You will be learning in a small car anyway, with an instructor who can also control the vehicle (dual control - clutch and brake).

The first few lessons you wont reach a real speed, maybe 30mph, nothing more in a deserted area (housing estate usually) with nothing and nobody to hit so there is nothing to worry about.

Tell the instructor about your fears, Im sure they will have more experience of that sort of thing than the rest of us on here.
