Yeah, erm.

Today I nearly cripped a young lad at work, I was operating a ride at work which is basically a swinging pirate ship. All the seats are just benches with a bar that comes down above the knee's to prevent people falling out. So when loading people in and they have sat down you shout on the tannoy to them "hands in the air please" so i did so and everyone I could see had their arms up whilst I pressed the button to bring the rails down. The rails go down and some kids turn round and are trying to tell me something. Normally I would have just set the ride off as its usually winging about my choice of music (LED ZEPPELIN IS FUCKING GOOD YOU WORTHLESS HEATHEN SHITS) so I did get out of the booth and go check and there was a boy who was tieing his shoe laces at the time everyone had their hands up so the barriers could come down. End result was he was doubled over crying his eyes out still doing his shoelace up. At this point for my own fun I wanted to set the ride off and watch him cry his way untill the end but I thought I better release him from the clasp of the evil ride. Once I did I took him off the ride and made sure he was ok etc (what I really wanted to do was fall about on the floor laughing) and told him how its important that he follows instructions given by operators and didnt let him back on the ride.

I then informed my superviser of what had happend and all he could do was laugh about it as could the maintence crue who came too drill a hole in the wall for some reason.

attatched is a photo of the incident. Thumbs Up

Where do you work Dodsi? The Valley or Flamingo Land?

Not been to either for years but a mate went to the F'land a couple of weeks ago with his missus and quite enjoyed his 30yo self.

It's ok but let me draw your attention to a couple of points:

a) The child cannot move.
b) The child is young.
c) The child is bent over.

Now it seems all too convenient that Dodsi, the newly formed carny in his purple shirt should happen to be at the controls of a device that can put small children into this somewhat compromising position.

And he said in the job interview 'I like bringing pleasure to small children' Rolling Eyes

I work at shitewater valley.

I was doing my best pirate impression too over the tannoy and shouting things like "who lives in a pineapple under the sea" and they all shouted back "sponge bob square pants!" the ride is called the wave anyways.

Ok mr pedantic, a couple is two you listed three therefore it should be a "few" not a "couple" of points.

There was a cripple when I went last week, got his mate to push him straight to the front of the queue for the rapids then he jumped out of the chair into the raft, fucking fraud.... (and he never had to walk a marathon to get from ride to ride). Whats the world coming to.

I've seen this happen when the ride got set off years ago, apart from the ride was called the Tempest and it went right the way over! You had a big pad that came down and pushed into your lap and he was doing his laces and got stuck under it

Kids was laughing his arse off the whole time though!
