Just curious what the deal is with that.

Quite often i come on and i go to posted in threads, see about 10 answered, look at one, come back and they've all suddenly been marked read Neutral

Bit of a pain cos then i never know what ive looked at etc.

Same here. Seems to be some pattern to it for me. Often going on from another PC triggers it. Same if I leave my logon to time out.

i had a similar problem on another forum, i discovered that if i signed in "to check private messages" and went into the forum from there, i didnt get this issue anymore.

strange i know but it worked for me.
