Here is a video of a friend of mine (Kevin’s Escort Cosworth 500bhp + 150 shot of nitrous) VS an Yamaha R1 at Crail raceway in Scotland.

Appologies for the lack of quality but still worth a view I think.

Enjoy!

The escort just about beats the bike over the line. Wink

Picture wasn't in time with the sound for me so it was kinda pointless. Oh well, shitty Realplayer!

Hi guys, the original video format was .MOV which runs on quicktime or realplayer so I exported it to WMV so that it would run on Windows Media player. I think the encoding bodged up the speed a bit. Here is the original video in .MOV format.

Use the second version .MOV format. That plays at the right speed. The first one has been screwed up in the encoding process.

Thought it looked way too quick. that's why i said about the picture not matching the sound if you listen carefully.

ahhh ... I was thinking what's going on, an R1 should have no problems wasting a modded car ...

palmer - wtf has that got anything to do with it? Some people are into cars and others are into bikes....simple! If the car costs more to tune then so be it however if the owner of the car does not like or doesnt want to go down the route of modifying a bike then I don't see where finance should come into the equation. LOL Geez man...just posted a video that I thought might be interesting to watch..didn't come on here to try and prove a point. Rolling Eyes

Killa - I am just going on the info given to me mate, what bike is it then?

yea nice vid that cossy definitely can shift Surprised but as said theres no way thats a R1 Tut Tut & its not only not a R1 but its a very old bike like the 1 above

so all the money thrown @ the cossy has to be alot just to match a STD OLD bike

like said above try against a modded NEW R1

still a very quick cossy tho Thumbs Up

So what? This has already been covered in this thread.

Why is it so important to you?
