Anyone watch this last night?

Basically, in about 10% of heart transplants the recipients are finding themselves with personality changes, which match up with the personality of the donor (who they don't know).

Dude was doing research into whether the heart actually is more than just the 'pump' that it's been considered by science for a long time, and reckons that it may actually learn and store things just like the brain does.

So the folklore that you feel can things with your heart seperate to your head could be right after all.

Interesting prog - worth catching on repeat if you missed it. Thumbs Up

Youd be suprised just how much nervous tissue is in the heart too.

Not to mention is has a pretty complex system to sort out the 'firing rythm' so to speak of the heart. There are two big arse nodes, and its attached to the Vagus Nerve.

You would possibly find the differences in behaviour are more to do with hormone imbalances and such, as the heart is still part of the endocrine system, and still release/affected by hormones.

this is a first step to microsoft plugs , not MSN or anything but out of william gibsons neuromancer series ,

where people have sockets put in the back/sides of their head, and can insert little plugs which give them skills and abilities contained within the plug which are instantly forgotten when they are removed.

Hence we could make a nice collection of plugs,

everybody would have a copies of

Stinkwheel for mechanical skill and diagnosis of animals

Reuben/Siggi for election time

Bonny Ricardo for fanny magnetism.
