i totally agree with what is on that website...

Another thing is that kids only ever think "go on the net" not "go to the library".
My little Brother Lee who is 8 years old, he play's Counterstrike:Source and Half Life 2:Death Match all day every day, and he'd rather play a game on the computer than be out socialising and making real friends, getting out more or even just getting fresh air! Evil or Very Mad

it pisses me off.. i wasn't brought up liek that, but i actually CHOSE not to be brought up like that! I didn't wanan play games for the rest of my life, i wanted to get out and learn how to do things for myself.

I'm now racin with Bemsee, an Amature Mechanic, Video Camera Man, Professional ICT Technician (Read books on it, not actually from a screen on the net!), Semi-Pro Network Technician (Books again), a Professional DJ at the weekends, watch Egham Town Football and i have fun with my fiancee and friends.

I have not lived a sheltered life and i have got as much experiance as i can get and guess what? I'm nearly about to turn 20 years old!

The internet has fucked up most kids (6 years +) brains by now with their addictive games.

The only time i ever actually USE the internet is when I'm at work, on messenger to my girlfriend when she's in class at college, or when i want to download a film or an album. everything else i do is baised on books.

I got my library card, and it's had harsh useage over the past 12 years (started reading big books a.k.a Lord Of The Rings when i was 8 years old)

The internet is not shit

I don’t need some self indulgent American corn fed spastic Emo prick telling me that people are drawn in by the internet, what ever outcome there is on one individual using the internet is of no interest to me what so ever, I don’t see that the internet has fully shown us what it can do for us, and I’m waiting for the day when it makes live even easier.

True, there is a mountain of crap on the net, but you don’t have to click it, you don’t have to even turn on the modem.

Examples of why this person should have been a blow job…….

It has allowed people to meet and make futures together
It’s launched people’s careers that previously would have been overlooked by the suits
Allowed families to re-unite easier than ever before
Allowed us to present global tributes to fallen loved ones
Saved peoples lives because of the simplified exchange of critical information

So fuck him and fuck any greebo, face painted retard who looking to put something down that’s so far over his/her head it makes me fill up with hate knowing there are people who fucking listen to them selves rant on about the world in their heads not realising their band is making fools out of them and their concert T-shirts on the internet.

I could be wrong, do I give a fuck, no, but I know I could be wrong, so…..

People find meaning on the internet sometimes, sometimes we don’t, and sometimes we get sucked in by the vast open space filled with information.
A mass of information such as the internet and it effects on the populous since its launch is not something that could have ever been predicted, in this sense it is exciting, but also quite scary.

There is, here, I my opinion, something there we have embraced as people, as much as it may have brought us closer together, it has also shown us how far apart we are.

The link is shit…..move on

The internet is INDEED shit in many aspects. A sort of neo-future emo clique breeding ground, where kids use l33t speak and take photos of themselves at arms length Wink

I was tired when I typed that, had only got out of bed 20 minutes prior to posting!

I read all the time, but as christof say's... I am also known for my typo's and text talk. Rolling Eyes

You don't have to be a good speller to read books... just sound out the word out and it makes sence. Neutral

I'll go get my Mr.Men book.... Sad

No, but reading a lot of books tends to make your spelling and grammar pretty good. Wink
