Hey guys, is there anyone on here that likes to go...well riding Rolling Eyes

I like to go riding but can get a bit boring after a while being on my own...so i was just wondering if there was anyone in the west yorks area that likes to go out on the odd sunday.

Thanks
Matt

Hey panrider......i work in southowram (you should know where that is if you live in halifax Smile )

I'd love to go out riding with you guys (trying to make this sound as none-dodgey as i can lol)...but i aint up for no speed contests, i'm only a learner on a 125 (but i wouldnt say im a bad rider nor a nutty one).

Oh yeah, any of you often go to scarborough? Me and the old man used to go up there quite a lot but now he sold his bike its a no no Sad

So how many northerners are there on here?

My mate follows me to Squires on his CG125, you are always welcome to tag along. Where abouts do you live, PM me your street address and I'll tell you where we can meet.

There are alot of Northerners on here, check the North section for most rideouts but like I say if you are up for the Squires run and you are an ok person, and don't ride like a chav/dangerous person you are welcome to join us. The route we go is twisty and ace.

Think it over. Thumbs Up

Trust me, i aint a chav. If it was upto me, i'd put every chav in the country into 1 building, put a stick of dynamite up each one's ass and blow them all up Smile

Anyway, on a more serious note....not to sound stupid or anything but where exactly is squires? If it is easy accessable (bearing in mind i can't go on motorways) then i'd give it a shot.

Helmsley seems a good trip, and from there, there is a road straight to scarborough by the looks of things.

Anyway, i live in thornhill lees, dewsbury.

Oh yeah, what bike's do you guys ride?

I applied to be in the 'northern riders' section thingy but my application is still 'pending'

Perfectly accessible with no M roads in sight, so you will be ok. If you PM me that address I will hook you up with a meeting point.

There is a range,

dodsi on a ZX6R, extreme3D on his SV650, Spacky on his Blunderace, Black Knight on his CBR1100XX, me on my ER-5, NY_Sniper on his ZXR, dransy on his GS500e. That's about the main people that come along on decent rideouts.

Ahh, sounds good.

Anyone up for anything on sunday? Just about the only time i am free for riding Rolling Eyes

I asked my old man about 'squires' and he said it is a bikers cafe heading towards pontefract.....is this right or is he thinking of something else?

Phantom, I'll PM you my address in a moment.

So what is your most favoured riding destination? IE the place you go most that is of any interest to the biking world......

So, do you guys go out often with each other?

Hope i won't look out of place to much on a suzuki GZ125 Sad Crying or Very sad

You will look fine, won't be able to make it this weekend but the weekend after will be fine, I am free to go to Squires, which as your Dad says is a Bikers Cafe, and it is near Pontefract. It's ok to sit and look at the bikes but I love the ride there and back, trying to improve on my cornering on the wide selection of road patterns. You won't be out of place on a GZ125, as I say I will be taking my mate on his CG125 so you can race him Laughing

My favourite place was probably Brighton as I loved my stay down there, though I also like North Yorkshire and I've heard good things about Wales, Scotland and the South West.

I seriously need to fix my handlebars then you must PM me about going somewhere (or post)

I've not gone out on a ride with any1 on here b4 and all my mate have 50cc scooters so never end up going far with friends.

I live in bradford/shipley area and have a YBR-125

We must do something sometime (arrange a ride out when you can get time free)

Post to us in north room Smile

Hey, I still can't access the north room...they don't want me Crying or Very sad

I sometimes pass through shipley when heading towards otley or up that way...going through baildon/ilkley way.

Whats up with you handlebars? Is your bike in any ride-able condition? Confused

its ridable and i think there only minor damage!

I put bike on stand and the stand was not on the ground and the bike fell 5seconds after i walked away! lol i looked like a right tit when i was picking it up Embarassed

Then got on bike later and realised that the handle bars are out of proportion to the wheel (when handle bars are straight the wheel points sligtly to the left. Think i just have to unscrew the handle bar holder and put handle bars back into correct position! Thumbs Down

Takes few minutes, as i have had to do this once before (on a friends little pit bike) Confused

well that is how most of us met.

The only person I knew was extreme3d out of the north lot.

That was because he used to live next door to me and it was me that got him into biking.
