I've spent the last 3 months sorting this bike and i feel i have extremely bad luck and it's insurance might run out soon so may just get a new bike altogether...

So, what's been done? Basically i've fitted a complete new lump from an identical bike which had only 8000 miles on the clock which cost me £350.
I've also just fitted a new contisport tyre (£90)
New plugs(£25)
New fork seals and 15w oil (£16)
Brand new brake pads set (£30 ebay special)

I also serviced the engine before fitting so it is in very good working order, this year i have been doing a college course for motorbike mechanics, being supervised by professionals, so the work done is to a very good standard. No cowboy shit.

What's wrong then?
The bike paintjob is extremely poor, it has quite a few marks on her tank, and has a silver stripe through it (vinyl) that hasn't been layered properly.
I have the side fairings, but unfortunately i hit a hen last night, and it took the left hand side clean off and split it in two, and is now fucked, however the right hand side is ok and good to be re - fitted. The joining piece went off into a field and i was unable to find it.

The exhaust, forks and swingarm are in need of a bit of cosmetic attention, nothins some nitro mors wont sort out with some laquer after to stop road shit getting to it.

I just feel it's time for me to possibly move on as the insurance is up for renewal soon, and i don't want to renew it if i don't have the money to sort the bike out.

I'm open to offers, call Tom on 07703000415 if you have any questions, thanks.
The clock reads 25-26k

WILL ADD PICS LATER
ALSO COMES WITH RESTRICTOR CERT WITHOUT THE WASHERS FITTED, 12 MONTHS MOT AND 2 OR 3 MONTHS TAX

I recently got a mint '89, NC23 for £800 and some people said that was too much! (personally i thought it was a fair enough price)

Try parkers, they have free bike price guides. i think it's www.parkers.co.uk
