Time for another noobie to say Hi

Names Ed, based down in Sussex. Guess I'm a bit old compared to a lot of you guys (+girls) being the wrong end of the thirties but hey everyone has to start sometime.

Like many others I've been reading the forum for a few months but this is my first post.

Enjoyed (not sure thats the right word) reading all those threads from people on here who have been detailing their ups and downs re tests and want to thank them for encouraging my paranoia re U-turns on test.

Oh yes and passed my test on 12th June after doing my CBT in Feb. Very Happy

So anyway Hi and thanks for brightening up those boring moments when I'm stuck in the office wishing I was out on my bike.

Hi and welcome to the forum, make sure you've signed yourself up to the South East Forum, as there is a fair number of us in or around Sussex. The age range is fairly mixed as well, so don't worry about feeling old.

What bike have you got?

Cheers Davo

Should have mentioned the bike! Rolling Eyes

Took the route of doing CBT, then got a secondhand CG to get a bit of practice on and following test, last weekend picked up an SV650S (2000 on an X plate)

Certainly notice the difference!

Now just gotta sell the CG after changing chain and sprockets...

Have signed up to the SE Forum.

Welcome to the forum. Your bike looks stunning. I love the colour. I'm from Sussex too and also a relative newbie, having only been riding again (after a LONG break Laughing ) since May last year. And I'm the wrong end of the forties!

Thanks for the replies people.

Good to see there's a real mix of ages on the forum and not everyone my age has been riding for 20+ years. Laughing

FreshAL thanks for the link will be checking it out shortly

ZZR Girl, yes, must say I prefer the colour to those on offer this year and did not want a yellow one. Most of the secondhand ones seem to be yellow Exclamation

Hope to see some of you out and about, may have done alrerady...you never know...
