Hi, does anyone where i can buy fluid for a zippo style lighter? bought 3 last summer holidays for a measly 3 euros each (not official zippos of course) but they didnt come with fluid Sad does anywhere like B + Q sell it?

Yeah you can get Ronson or Swan gas in most newsies, comes in a rectangular can.

Try not to use the Swan fluid it only last me about 10 days a fill wereas Ronson lasts at lest 4 weeks +.

All of my local newsagents dont sell it, so I presumed none did and that it was only available at specialist stores. Generally in life, if you dont know something, you ask people, hence the thread. I asked for help, not criticism, take it elsewere.

What you need is a rocket fuel specialist. They'll order it from Japan for you. Costs megabucks though. Rolling Eyes

Dude most shops sell it. Less than a quid. Thumbs Up Newagents or your Spar or (whatever your area has willl stock it).

You can. I used to dip mine in the bike petrol tank when I had filled it. I have seen others do so too.

Trouble is it a) stinks of petrol and b) Gives you dermatitis on your leg if you keep it in your trouser pocket..
