We have the players to win the world cup, and we *could* win, if we get in the right mind set. The problem isn't their skills but their mentality.

Also you have to remember that T&T put 11 players behind the ball pretty much everytime, sweden couldn't score against them and they are a pretty good side.

I think we will play much better against bigger opposition, especially a more attacking side which we will be alble to hit on the break.

We will be playing cuador or germany in the next round, ecuador a probably the better side, but germany have home advantage.

Both will be a tough game IMO.

Sven does my head in, always brings of the players who are performing very well. Like Joey Cole coming off yesterday, he was by far our best midfeilder. And Jamie Carragher who Im sure had seen more of the ball than anyone else on the pitch.

England IMO are no way capable of winning this world cup.

They've had two games now and just scraped the wins. They didnt deserve to win either of them.

Ok so their 2 goals yesterday were very good, they did deserve to score them because they were set up and were very clean goals. However i dont think they deserved the win

I dont think they realy deserve to be guaranteed a place in the quarters at all. I think they should be in a position where they need to win the next game convincingly to stay in the world cup.

I think they came in with the idea that they were a fantastic team and they were going to walk through it. Like aragont lamers realy. I think this has shown them that they arent all that and they need to actually step up a level and do what they are payed stupid amounts to do.

Also it makes me laugh how they still say that they need roony to win the world cup If they are that reliant on one player then they should all just go home

Thats my oppinion anyway, im sure people will disagree!

Argentina just played a stunning game.

England have the players to win the world cup, but unfortunately Sven hasn't got a clue what to do with Gerrard and Lampard, by putting them in a defensive position and leaving a huge hole between them and the front boys.

IMO the only players that let down the team is the goalkeeper and probably the strikers, bar Rooney.

One fundamental problem the English team have is lack of Passion in their game, there is no passion to win, no pride for their country, the only time I saw the passion yesterday was from Rooney and Beckham as usual.

As a side note, that Lennon kid had a brilliant game yesterday.
