Zips - do they get checked?

Would this be a problem are they likely to check?

I think they do check and its not good enough if its not a true two piece where the zip goes all the way around, in the event of a crash it can pull up at the front and cause a rather nasty rash,
allergy to tarmac,

do you know anyone who would lend you a 1 piece?
Im selling a set but I have a feeling they might be too big.

I've been checked once at Brands Hatch, although that was probably because a bit of my t-shirt was hanging out of the gap. So just make sure everything is tucked in.

The 'not checking' thing goes along with the not checking bikes thing, bascially if they haven't checked then they aren't taking any responsibility - legally it could make a big difference if someone turned round and tried to sue.

Never had it checked, but I'm pretty sure some have said that a half zip is ok..

I'd just gaffer tape it good on the inside on the day.
