just been into my local test centre and found out the price
its 80 pound if you want to do it on your own bike or 120 if you are going to borrow a bike off of them. do you think thats dear? or the norm?

I think it sounds about average . I have read about some being £60 on your own bike. Mine was £115 with bike hire Thumbs Up

Mine will be £95 including bike hire, helmet use etc. and a second day's training if I fail the first time. Another place I looked at was £120 for, so far as I could tell, exactly the same thing.

£95 mid week including bike hire and 'guaranteed pass' ie. if you didn't do it on the day, you came back until you'd passed, at no extra cost. Gotta say, the tuition standard is excellent where I'm learning and after lessons, the guys can all have a laugh about what went wrong so you don't feel TOO bad about it Wink

Mine cost me (well the old man Very Happy ) £110 with bike/helmet hire etc and fully comp insurance (yes, they had an option for TP insurance for when you was on the road...so if you crashed you had to pay out damages on the hired bike Shocked )

That also included garunteed pass to.

to do mine it cost me 120 quid but that was with bike hire included a lil yammy SR125. ended up having one to one tutiotion which really helped. went with Rider plan that run in conjuction with the Yamaha Centre here in Woking and the tutor was excelent and gave me lots of help and answered all of me stupid questions lol Embarassed

but no i fully recomend em top stuff!! Very Happy

My first CBT was 100 including bike hire, but i used my own gear.

My second CBT was 85 and i used my own bike and own gear that time Thumbs Up

go with some private compnay should be cheaper. Mine was £60 with my own bike, but it would of been £70 with theirs.
