It's fucking cringeworthy! VBH standing in Birmingham Shopping Centre with a megaphone apologising to a bunch of shoppers (who don't care; no-one stops) because she didn't win a rally cross race. They've also had Tiff trying to outrun some gunmen in the Citroen C6 with flat tyres. Next they're going to fire a canon at some piece of crap car. Fifth Gear was always crap, but now they're trying to be Top Gear.... and failing miserably!

Maybe they should turn the canon on the producer...

I started watching earlier, got bored, then turned it off. Just half watched the last 10 mins. The whole thing is basically a shit rip off of top gear. They always test the cars after top gear and most of the things they do are copies of things done in top gear, i saw the 'in todays show' thing at the beginning and top gear already did the trying to outrun the army while being shot at. Plus 5th gear never give a proper review of cars as they are always nice and give good reviews, unlike topgear which give their real opinions on the cars.

I've got a bit bored of topgear, all the jokes have been used a few times before usually and you can see them coming from miles off once you've watched a few.

At least fifth gear does have some relevance to driving cars, rather than JC either going "OMG it's amazing", or "it's a pile of **** because the colour doesn't quite match my hair".

Not that I've got a working TV to watch either at the moment.

I was saying exactly the same thing whilst watching it: ''they're copying top gear and it's bloody cringeworthy!''

They have soo many topics which I dont care about and dont teach me anything. So what if a 16yr old merc door will still open if you fire a cannon at it?!. They should just stick to reviewing new cars and leave the larking around to Top Gear.
