KM/H to MPH Speedo Change ?

Do you know if I can do my motocycle practical test with a Km/h speedo with stickers (MPH) over the KM/h ones?
I have read that I need to get a conversion I have a NSR 125 and the speedo is in KM/h. Is it that nessesary to change?

A bike passes its MOT with km/h only, so I don't see why you'd need a mph speedo.

I would say if the speedo actually reads in mph then it's showing you MPH and you can tell how fast your going , unless you have just stuck something over the letter KPH showing MPH in that case it's not reading right, and they are not going to be chuffed !

My old NSR was KPH got a nice new set of dials and very carefully pulled them apart and put the new fascia on. Job done.

If it counts in Km cant see that being an issue, ask any test center, they are very helpful.

Motrax do a convert that you put onto your speedo cable, voila the clocks then read in MPH on a KPH speedo.
