and then spending the day with your teetotaller family.

Think I can sober up in 6 hours? That's when my Dad's 4th of july BBQ starts.

Oh! forgot... Happy 4th, folks. No hard feeings about kicking Englands ass 230 years ago? good.

Anyway. Can't show up drunk. No alcohol at the BBQ, but today's a holiday, and I really want to get drunk, so I've been sittring her ewith a realy tall glass of vodka mixed with watermelon martini mix (very delicious, I might add) and I think after another one I'l be toasted.

Think I can sobheer up in 6 hours?

... how do you make one of those fucking poill things anyweay?

fireworks are the best!

of course... here it's mostly cherry bombs and those annoyingly ineffectivbe fountains. wish I lived somewhere where bottle-rockets were legal...

well, after a lot of water, some food, and a nap I'm suficiently sober to go over to my Dad's and laugh at how a sudden thunderstorm has made it impossible for a barbeque OR fireworks!

That is a good point actually. I can see the obvious differences between the circumstances of the 2 different events but it does make you think does it?
