I thought it might be an idea to get some names together for those of us. If you can let me know where you are coming from and what day (gates open 12:30ish on Thursday).

Definates

Me & Her (PsychoHippy & MrsHippy) - Thursday from Bath area.
Ste - Thursday from Reading area
Goose & Sticky - From Reading Area
Annabella & Suzuki - Thursday from Birmingham(ish)
Nighteyes - Thursday from Birmingham(ish) with Anna & Suzuki
niff5855 (aka Sausage Boy) - From South Wales (maybe riding up with the Hippys)
Queen Of String & Teaman - From Liverpool(ish) on Friday evening

Maybes

karen_moomin & Mcjam
Distortion

So by my quick count, that's 10 definates and a few maybes (although I think QoS is a definate, just waiting for confirmation).

If I have missed anyone out, shout out and I will add you accordingly. For the rest of you, can you just let me know which day you are coming up so we can grab a suitable acreage.

I'm now cancelling I'm afraid, Trackday and possible wheelie school is sucking my wallet harder than a crack whore trying to avoid being killed by her pimp.

Basically, don't get caught.
Offically there are to be no fires in the camp site (health and safety and all that). Disposable BBQs are allowed though (and there is a Lidl about 3 miles away Thumbs Up).
However, Ste will undoubtedly be bringing his fire juggleing stuff, so there will be fire Cool

Yes it is - It's a Pentrich Show Ground, just outside Pentrich (funny enough).

I only know Mr and Mrs Hippy mate, and I've only met them the once.

Thats half the fun of these things mun.

After a couple of days of getting pissed, eating dodgy food, smelling each others farts etc..... you'll feel you know people more than enough thanks very much hehehehe

Seriously though, to me, thats what bikes are all about.

(Well, that and flying around the place pretending to be Rossi Mr. Green ).

Get down !!!!!!!!!!

There will be some of us riding up together, and some individualy. We will all meet up at the site. Hopefully we will be able to grab a large enough area to put up the gazebos and all the tents. I'm sure there will be someone coming from your direction that will be happy to meet you on the way down.
As for not knowing anyone, there is absolutly no better place for it Cool

Everyone is welcome and you can tag along as long as you feel like it Smile

As for what it says under your name, that has to do with how many posts you have made.

Some of us are going on Thursday, certainly Hippy, Mrs Hippy and I are.

OK Matt, yes - tickets are available on the gate, they are just cheaper in advance.
We are planning on getting there for around lunch time so we can get a good pitch for the group. Hopefully Ste will get there around the same time (or maybe before us) as he will have the 'big' bits in the car. As far as I know, Anna\Suzuki and co. will get there on the Thursday too.

Nobody will care that you have L plates, the fact is you are on a bike - that's what is important.

As for what to bring. The essentials are: Tent, sleeping back, clothes and money. There is a Sainsburys in Pentrich (about 3 miles away) and we will almost certainly go there at least once, but there are loads of food stalls around which aren't that expensive.

The only thing you MUST NOT bring is glass. Any glass will be taken off of you at the gate for health and saftey reasons (if they check).

I will make sure everyone going up has my number before we go, so if you decide to meet us for the last bit (off of the motorway), we can arrange where in advance and you will be able to get in touch.

I shall add you to the list as a possible Thumbs Up

I booked 26th (said i had to 'get ready' Very Happy ), 27th and 28th off work so put me down as a definate now Shocked

I will be coming from up north (yes i'm a northerner Rolling Eyes ) so i will see you guys at the site. I will try and get there for around lunch time ish, depends how lost i get.

Oh, thats another thing. I printed out the directions off RAC website but is there anyway i can attatch them to my bike, my old man said some people put them in little plastic bags on their handle bars and when they have done them directions they just rip it off and toss it away.... Confused

Money...it is £45 on the gate i believe, an extra tenner than pre-booking..but hey ho, thats life. I get paid on the thursday that it starts so its all good (means i can't spend it all before hand Razz )

I will PM you my number in 1 moment.

Thanks
Matt
