When i ride i prefer to just wear sunglasses and have my visor up, not really seen anyone else ride like this.

Whats your preference?

I've got a Shark black visor. The supplier said it didn't have the anti fog coating but i've never had it fog up.

I ride with the internal sunshade deployed and the flip face right up.

Unless I am doing >80mph, then the windblast keeps trying to shut the flip front. So then its open visor and sunshade deployed.

Glasses on, visor mostly closed (1 inch gap) if in town and only fully open if pootling about an estate. As soon as I get over 40 or so then the wind blast annoys me so I just shut the visor completely.

Visor up, until I get to about 40mph, then down, but with about an inch gap up to about 80, closed after that.

Visor down unless im stopped in traffic.

Used to ride with it open, but once following a car, it fired a stone up from under its wheels and hit me on my chin bar of the helmet.

I thought "Shit" if that had been a few centimeteres higher, it would have been in my face.

So from that day forth i always rode visordown. Only opening it if i stopped.

Thumbs Up

Visor up but only when I have sunnies on and around town.
Anthing faster and I have it cracked a little.

Had a stone smash my car window from the back of a truck 100 yards away so wont be taking those chances with my face or eyes.

i like riding with my visor up, but if i go up about 40 whenever i look down at the speedo or mirrors the wind tends to just shut my visor.

also it hurts when you get the lorry fly past you spilling dirt/stones/stuff or when you get that fly that aims for your eye.

so i only really go visor up round town (generally i keep it up in towns).

I cant really speak but i am can only say what i felt on my CBT and overall, lots of people seem to ride with very dark race visors and as road legal tinted ones, that the guy that i did with my CBT with were hardly tinted and not going to make a huge difference i would say ride with my james bond baddy sun glasses on and visor shut i dont want to get a bee in my bonnet Embarassed. ok thats a terrible joke but you get my point, the only thing that pretty much scared the shit outa me was when i did day 1 of my cbt it was blazing hot and i was starting to get a bit light headed when i was stood still as heat got to me, nice when riding with the lovely breeze, my visor steamed up just as i was pulling away and could hardly see any thing and i couldn't get the thing to lift up but it cleared up quickly, which made me feel better but it shot me confindence a bit, i had me u turns after that which i did eventually but i rode very slow on the way back as i was nervous and knackered and he did tell me not to go over 30mph at the start of the ride when i go a bit keen on the throttle. he was scottish and his accent was not very calming, went back the next day and the boss took us out for a few hours, nice calm english acccent and kept talking to us, which helped a lot and the kip did us good as well.

Ok i better shut up this is a thread about sunglasses and visors not my strage ramblings about my CBT.

Thanks for reading Thumbs Up
