Today my company achieved a ccredited status as a Supported Living Provider. its a huge achievement for us. I have 9 staff 2 men, 7 women. i'd like to give them somethig as a one off reward for their contribution in achieving this. I have no idea at what level to pitch it though. Theyre support staff, some part time, some full time on about £6 to £7 per hour. Any thoughts on what would do it for you ??

I think you can spend up to £155 per head, per year, tax free on staff entertainment. If it's that huge an achievement, I think that's a small amount.

The night out ideas are good, also giving you the chance to further bond as a workforce. Are there any activities in particular that you think everyone will enjoy?

What kind of age range are we talking here? ...and is everyone physically able?

Whatever you decide, I've always found the company to be more important than the surroundings.

...but if I had a choice, definately something outdoors with testosterone packed activites.

cash for all, people want money in their hand these days, if you can stretch to it a pizza party or something, and explain it would have been either money on food or money in their pockets and a pizza as you wanted to celebrate!! Laughing

Could always have a night out somewhere?

How about an ipod? Get each employee thier own with thier name / message of thanks engraved on the back.
With 9 staff id imagine you could work a fairly big discount off them.

This all depends on how much you are planning to spend

As said depends on your budget. Off top of my head, based on 'gifts' colleagues have received I'd say iPod/IPod nano/iPod shuffle sort of thing (bulk buy discount Very Happy).

What if they are oldish though? Would they want an ipod?

I met my targets early in the year before I left for my new job and my boss gave me £200 worth of capital bonds vouchers. Spending it on clothes for holiday but can be put towards hols and all sorts, hobbies ect.

https://www.capitalbonds.co.uk/Web/Site/retailers/nationals/fashio.asp?menuID=-1&MenuItemID=15&MenuType=PAGE

Other than that, go karting!! Quad biking, something fun! or cash in hand!!!
