country b Road - great road surface but lots of tight bends tho camber is all over the place.

Found a car in front, doing about 60 - staying back - preparing for a right hander - car slamms breaks on 'in' the corner, an I mean slams breaks on - WTF i think and grab the brake - by the time i'm on the apex i'm all geared wrong and cant pick up, knock down a few and try to pull out - the back wheel starts going the wrong way, grab break again and veer towards the hedge, managed to rescue it as i start to bite the gravel just before the verge. bit shaken and nowt hurt but my pride. exit the corner and take the car. enjoy the rest of the bends. only 2cm of rear tyre left to scrub off. big lesson learned - stay even further back from cars on bends - 2 seconds is not enough.

A wise lesson indeed. I usually let cars go ahead on the straights so i can go whatever speed i want going into the corner knowing i would have to grab the brake mid corner because the arsehole in front misjudged it.

give it a few months and you will learn how to ride safetly rather than be in the wrong gear for corners and sat up the arse of the car in front.

My instructor said to me on the first day of riding on my CBT "They're all out to kill you, they're all idiots and will kill you without warning"

kept me upright all this time.
