Just taped up a faulty wire i had & went to take her up my road to see if it would cut out & the bike wouldn't go into 3rd gear, theres no click or anything it just won't go. It's then quite hard to get it into 1st & neutral, it will only go upto 2nd gear.

What's the problom you rekon?

1 problom after the other. I need a car. Embarassed

Sure you didn't bend the gear shift rod when it fell over?

Does sound like the only thing that can have gone wrong - the shaft bending. Sad How about the clutch - do you have plenty of leverage when you pull the lever? It might not be fully disengaging..

Even if it is the shaft, it can be fixed without a second mortgage.
